The RAVEN RV9 is surprisingly light 13’6" 3-piece rod with amazing sensitivity. We used a multi-modulus graphite process to produce a blank with the best possible attributes; an ultra slim profile, excellent sensitivity, light weight and great action.

From the custom manufactured high-frame tip tops, designed to perfectly match the high-frame guides and sized to minimize freeze-up, to the tight-fitting sliding rings that hold without tape. The rod blanks are carefully manufactured to avoid stiff spots and ensure a clean transition between sections.

If your are looking for the best all purpose float rod, then look no further. This is the best quality and most durable float rod you will ever own. I would recommend one 10 out of 10 times to any angler looking for a good float rod.

My first float rod, glad I spent a bit extra because it's worth it.Enjoyed success quickly after using due to quick hooksets. Light too which i like due to a shoulder injury.

IMO its the best raven rod made, feels fairly light in hand and able to fish all day without fatigue. Forgiving tip but lots of backbone with a decent hookset. Can handle fish in bigger water with ease,great steelhead rod and salmon also . Really enjoy this rod so far in med to heavier flows. I would pick this rod over other factory rods in its price range.
