You can feel every bite on this rod. Hook set is easy and fighting a fish with this rod is night and day compared to some lower end rods. Love this product

I bought the 14'im8,was able to hook steelhead on very long drifts no problem,rod has a light enough action to protect 4lb with a light hand'though i generally run 5 or six drennan. nice looking rod,no frills,no sheen to spook fish,nice bag,no tube.

This is my first centerpin rod and I can already tell it is of high quality. It has a strong low to mid section for power and a light tip that will help protect light lines. Fishheads did a great job on my order and I was very appreciative of their up front service and willingness to contact me as soon as I made my purchase.
