Product Information
RAVEN® IM6 float rods have defined tradition float rod action for over a decade. They provide smooth action that cushions light leaders yet have plenty of reserve power when needed. The 11”6″ Steelheader is ideal for both bottom bouncing and short to mid range float fishing, with loads of power to handle tough situations. This blank is also tied as a Spiral Wrap Baitcaster. For the serious salmon ‘pinner, the 12’6” IM6 Salmon rod has loads of power to wear down any salmon. The same power can now be found in the NEW 12’6″ IM6 Salmon Spiral Wrap Baitcaster.
Raven IM6 float rods provide traditional action that delivers smooth hook sets and plenty of reserve power when needed. The rods feature low friction TiCH guides and come with a BONUS protective cloth bag.

I’ve got some new Friends!

Im brand new to the Centerpin thing and without any local “tutors” im at the mercy of the internet. After a LOT of study and reading and comparing the different offerings i bought the Raven 11.ft SR rod. Here in Alaska; locally i have plenty of Rainbow, Silver & Red salmon and Dolly’s/Char. The river’s & streams i will frequent will be medium size down to some pretty small streams.
I’m very pleased with the Rod and look forward to getting out when the water goes soft!
Last year i bought a dozen or so fly rods and had them mailed from all over America and each time i’d hold my breath until arrival. I have to say; i was impressed to see the condition of the box when i picked this one up this morning. Mentally i had to chuckle when the lady handed it to me; looking like it had never even gone thru the postal service. It’s perfect and it arrived a couple days earlier than expected.
I’ve gone on to place an order for some terminal tackle and looking forward to it’s arrival as well. Once i get next month’s “allowance” i’ll be ordering a Kingpin Kinetic for this rod.
Like i said, “I’ve got some new friends”.
